Chambéry airport (or Chambéry Savoie) is a small international airport based in the French Savoie commune, with a huge attraction. 

It can claim to be the closest airport to the French Alps, and therefore to the slopes! 

Based just a few kilometres from Chambéry this is the most accessible French airport available for Whiterides Airport Transfers as you jump straight on to the motorway and drive direct to the alpine ski slopes.

It has one runway and was opened to commercial flights in the 1960's. Being very similar in size to Grenoble Airport this is another good choice for quick trips, especially from London. The key UK passenger airlines using Chambéry airport are British Airways and Flybe. 

Chambéry airport can also cater for up to 1 million passengers, like Grenoble, whilst maintaining a high level of security to all. You will find a small terminal building offering a simple range of services and shopping and easy access to Chambéry airport departures and arrivals.

Note: Chambéry airport is based next to the beautify Lac-du-Bourget you may experience some fog on occasions which can cause disruption to the flights.

The airport is so small that your driver will park close to the door for drop off and pick up. When you arrive a member of the Whiterides' team will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with the name of your party on a board.
