Whiterides Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms & Conditions

  1. To secure a booking PART or FULL payment is required.
  2. Payments - can be made securely online by credit card or via bank transfer, using our third party secure supplier: CIC Banque. No credit card details are taken or stored directly on www.whiterides.co.uk. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
  3. Payment Charges - Payments by credit card will not incur any charges, if paying by bank transfer from outside the EU fees will apply.
  4. Data Security - All payments are secure via CIC Banque payment system and we do not store or have access to any credit card data of our customers at any point.
  5. Cancellations/ Refunds:
    • Cancellations made up to 3 weeks before the 1st transfer date will be refunded the full amount paid minus a € 50 admin fee
    • Cancellations made between 3 weeks before and 7 days before the 1st transfer date will be refunded 50% of the full transfer price.
    • Cancellations made within 7 days of the 1st transfer date/time will be charged at the full amount and no refund will be given.
    • In the event of cancellation this applies to the whole booking from the first travel date and the return transfer is not considered to be a separate booking so it will therefore fall under the same conditions as the arrival. For example a cancellation made within 7 days of the booking date, but with the return transfer date over 7 days away these dates are not treated separately and no refund will be issued for the whole booking.
  6. Changing your booking dates - to move a booking to different dates and times there is a one of fee of €25.

COVID-19

  1. In the event of your transfer booking being cancelled due to COVID-19, and under the circumstances listed below we will refund you the full amount of your booking minus a € 75 admin fee.
  • Your ski resort is closed by local French government due to lockdown measures.
  • Your country of residence has imposed a travel ban on entering France.
  • Your country of residence has imposed a nationwide lockdown and you are unable to travel.
  • The French authorities imposes a travel ban for UK nationals entering France.

In the event of any quarantine measures being put in place by France or your country of residence our normal cancellation policy will apply.

 

Service Terms & Conditions

  1. Customer Property - Customer's property/baggage is carried in our vehicles at the owners risk.
  2. Early Collection/ Departure - If your transfer requires our drivers to work between the hours of 00:00 - 05:30 there is a surcharge of  45.
  3. Flight Delays - In the event of your flight being delayed it is your responsibility to contact whiterides and inform us of your situation - The sooner you contact us the more likely we can rearrange and where possible reschedule your transfer.
    • Our drivers will wait for 1hr 30mins, at no extra charge, from your booked flight arrival time.
    • After 1hr 30mins there is a fee of  25 an hour (this is to cover our drivers wages and parking fees) . 
    • If you are delayed for a considerable time our driver may not be able to wait due to other transfer obligations. Where possible we will try to pick you up later, at no extra cost, if this ties in with our transfer schedule for the day. However if other transfer arrangements are made, at your request, these will be made at a cost to you and your original transfer will be charged as expected.
  4. At all times safety is our primary concern therefore if at any point, circumstances beyond our control, could prevent us from providing a secure and safe service we reserve the right to cancel your transfer.
  5. Delivery of  service: - Every effort is made by whiterides to get to you and to get you to your destination on time and a comfortable and safe manor however the following adverse conditions, beyond our control, may prevent this:
    • Adverse or severe weather conditions - Where safety of you you your party and/ or our drivers could be compromised
    • Resort closure
    • Airport closure
    • Road traffic accidents
    • Unforeseen traffic delays
    • Vandalism and terrorism
    • Force Majeure
    • Industrial action by third parties
    • Problems caused by other customers
    • The vehicle being held or delayed by a Police officer or Government official on the road and including border controls

Whiterides will not incur any liability whatsoever in the event of a delay due to the above circumstances, which are considered out of their control.
