France is open once again to UK residents, the news we have all been waiting for.
On the 18th of December 2021 France closed it boarders to the UK to try and curb the spread of the Covid Omicron variant. UK nationals could only travel if they had a compelling reason or if they were resident in France.
This of course was a massive blow for the Ski industry as a whole. Just when things were looking up and it was shaping up to be a bumper season for all, this news hit the industry hard, including our self's.
On Wednesday 12th of January it was announce that restrictions between France and the UK would ease within a few days, follow this on Friday 14th of January the restrictions were lifted meaning vaccinated travellers from the UK will no longer need a compelling reason to travel and will not need to self-isolate.
This is great news for the Ski industry and hopefully this can get us all back on track towards a great winter.
Since the announcement we have been inundated with calls and emails from our UK clients who have been itching to get our and hit the slopes.
It couldn't of come at a better time with great snow conditions currently and quiet slopes, January is the perfect month to take a ski trip.
Fancy a last minute trip ? we have transfer availability through out January and the rest of the season, with discounted prices for weekday travellers.
We are now heading in the right direction, lets hope it remains this way for the rest of the ski season.
Hope to see you on the slopes soon.
