Sunday airport transfers

Published: 30/12/2015 12:53

In 2016 we can offer you great prices on your Sunday or even mid week transfers, at Whiterides Airport Transfers.

But it's not just a good consideration from a money perspective it's far easier to travel to your resort on a Sunday as there is less traffic on the roads around the Alps.

The primary reason for this is there is one road in and one road out to the Tarentaise Valley so if you are going to any of the following popular resorts:  Tignes, Val d'isere, Courchevel, Val Thorens, La Tania, Meribel, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Peisey Vallandry, Les Coches, Monchavin etc... you will be on the same roads as everyone else!

Obviously your Whiterides Transfer driver knows all the shortcuts and back roads to help when there are delays but it's not always possible to use them.

So why else consider a Sunday to Sunday ski trip?

You get the benefit of skiing on a Saturday when there is no one about. Explore the whole ski resort as if it was your own. Empty slopes, no lift queues and free tables at the restaurants, it doesn't get better than this!

Every resort goes quiet on a Saturday and you are likely to meet a few locals, but that is about it. No seasonnaires, as they are all working, and hardly any public as they are all travelling home or in their transfers heading to the airport.

There wont be as much choice in accommodation but this is changing every year, as chalets are finding it much easier to complete their change over on a Sunday, so keep looking and it wont take long to find suitable ski accommodation for you and your group.

Sunday to Sunday is a great option and here at Whiterides we can often do you a better deal on a Sunday for your transfer, so don't delay book that ski trip and give us a call: FR 06 36 94 16 25 or UK 020 88168559
