La PLagne is a lovely resort for families because of its wide pistes and array of different level slopes covering beginners to expert skiers and snowboarders. La Plagne has 225 kilometres of slopes as well as a large off piste skiing area which includes the Bellecôte's North Face, where you can ski down from La Plagne in to the beautiful Vanoise National Park and Nancroix, your return trip is easy with a quick bus ride then a trip on the Vanoise Express from Vallandry to Les Coches.
La Plagne offers the lovely village of Montchavin at 1250m and offers you access right to the top of the Glacier de la Chiaupe near the top of the Bellecôte at 3250m, so you wont get bored exploring this ski playground.
Beginner skiing in La Plagne:

With 15 black pistes and a array of off-piste skiing including the North face of the Bellcote, this is a great place to ski off piste, even if the rest of your group want to stay firmly on the piste!
