Courchevel is one of the most sort after French alpine ski resorts in the world. Firstly for its great skiing including access to 180 lifts and 150KM of pistes (including La Tania) but it also has over 10 Michelin stars to its name, an array of luxury shops and a wealth of 5 star accommodation. Courchevel is the skiing playground for the rich, royals and famous but don't be put off if you can't fly to the Courchevel Altiport (airport) in a luxury jet, Courchevel caters for all and Whiterides airport transfers can easily transfer you from any of the larger more popular airports including Geneva, Lyon, Grenoble and Chambery.
It is made up of 4 resorts: Courchevel 1850 (Courchevel), Courchevel 1650 (Courchevel Moriond), Courchevel 1550 (Courchevel Village) and Courchevel 1330 (Courchevel Le Praz) and close to La Tania.

The closest airpot to Courchevel ski resort is actually in Courchevel itself. The Courchevel Altiport is based at the top of a mountain and with its very short runway is considered an extreme airport, because there is no go-round procedure for landings and there are no runway lighting aids. It is still possible to fly here on a smaller plane such as a fixed wing or a helicopter and you will see it in use during your ski trip. We can highly recommend sitting in the bar and plane spotting whilst having a break from your snowboarding and skiing, and if you require Whiterides can transfer you from Courchevel airport to any of the local resorts or ski resorts further afield.
However if you are not feel extremely brave and would prefer to use a more popular airpot Chambery airport is the closest offering a transfer time of just 1hr 30minutes.
