In the winter months, when passengers are travelling to the many local ski resorts in France and Switzerland terminal 2 is often used for charter flights. Terminal 2 is small and has just one restaurant, so our tip is to take something to eat with you.

In the departures transit area you will find a private play room with toys, books and play areas for children up to the age of 5. In here there is also a baby change corner, nursing and feed area, as well as kitchen and rest area for tired travelers!
The room is free of charge and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
As well as this room there is a small children's area between gates A5 and A8 with a few large games and chairs for little ones to sit, eat and play.
Geneva Airport have provided a meditation room in the departures transit area, giving access to all that need peace and calm before flying.
Again in the departures transit area showers are available for those wishing to freshen up, priced at CHF 15.
It is still possible to smoke in a designated area within the departures transit area.
